We got an initial contact call from the church that Russ applied to in Southern Indiana. The conversation seemed very positive, and we learned some very interesting things...
1) the apartment at the Seminary is 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms 1,000 sq ft and the house at the church is 2 bedrooms unknown number of baths and 800 sq ft. This panicked me until Russ and a friend convinced me to borrow dad's laser room measure and find the sq footage of this place we live in now....miraculous answer... 805 sq ft. Downsizing? Puh-shaw. Not so worried about it now.
2) the community where this church is located has about 3,000 people. Hmmm... I think my high school graduating class had almost 700.
3) This church has 2 services with 230 members. The pastor has been there for 26 years.
